I am fairly good at growing things, and I am beginning to have
success with my grapes. However , just as in the past 2 years, my
grape vines are being attacked by a pest I cannot discover,
I find this a bit amazing, because I have never run into a situation
like this before . The leaves are being eated daily, startign from
the middle of the leaf working out to the edge. Looks very much like
the work of small grasshoppers might look.

I have NEVER seen an insect on these grapes leaves, and I inspect them
daily, at various times of the day. I have taken lights out at night
I CANNOT FIND ANY PEST!
I truely suspect there is an army of tiny beetles coming out of the
raised bed of roses that vines are attached to; in the middle of the
night, and then leaving going back underground. I wish someone could
tell me if I'm just nuts or what!
I do not as a rule like to use pesticides, but I will not rule it out
if it will help me.
