Interesting, it might be everyone migrated to the North Texas Wine Guild
group for those of us in North Texas. And the Home-Wine-Maker Group has some
traffic too.... I have 4 acres and plan in the works over the next three years
or so to put in about 370 vines. Right now looking at all the logistics and
doing a bunch of bare rooting from cutting, some grafting to wild mustang vines
on the place and general clean up of the land. I am in zone 7B but my mico
seems to keep it about 5-10 degrees cooler, so I am going to play with about 4
different varieties right now., most likely two reds and two whites... reds
I pretty settled on _Tempranillo_ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tempranillo)
and _Sangiovese_ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sangiovese) right now
looking at these whites _Rkatsiteli_ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rkatsiteli)
and
_Riesling_ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Riesling) . It finding what I want
on 1102P root stock... but not sure 1102P is going to be the root stock still
researching that issue as my soil is PH balanced and is loam, not clay like
many have to deal with in North Texas.

Well that my plan... will have to see how it comes out.
