muscadine grapes   Message List

I have some muscadines for the first time here in
Atlanta.
Small clusters...and all the grapes dont ripen at the same time in the clusters.
They are deep purple when ripe.

Anyway, these vines were not pruned this past spring and are haywire. I want to
cut back to the main trunk this winter, put in a whole new support for them to
give them more room.

So do these grapes grow clusters only on current year's growth like regular
grapes or are these different? I want to do this so that I can still have
grapes next year.
Thanks,
Michel in Hotlanta
