Discussion group for Text-To-Speech (TTS) software developers and text-file optimizers. The emphasis here is on improving and perfecting the output sound, as heard by the final user. In order to do this, we seek better software (to read and transform the text files into sound) and better text-file optimization (to fine-tune the details of output sound in terms of pitch inflections, correct pronounciation, nuances of emphasis, nuances of speed, and other aspects we should be able to control by means of TTS tags.) I, myself, write prayers and poetry; and I want them to sound perfect. I also write MIDI music sequences, so I am familiar with the use of MIDI controllers, to make the output sound exactly right. I also write HTML files, so I am familiar with the use of HTML tags to control the browzer's output.
