Subtitler 1.5 adds spotting feature
-----------------------------------
23 April 2004. Belle Nuit Montage announces the immediate release of
Belle Nuit
Subtitler 1.5.
Main new features:
- Spotting with QuickTime movies
- Timecode comment
- Export of the spotting to Avid (EDL), Final Cut Pro (XML) and DVD
Studio Pro (STL)
- Export to 720p
With Subtitler 1.5, a translator will now be capable to do the whole
spotting and
translating within one application. The editing of the titles is then a
mainly
automated process. With Subtitler 1.5, you can now also reuse the same
subtitles
for a video and a DVD application.

Belle Nuit Subtitler is a program to spot, edit and render subtitles for
using in Avid or in Final Cut Pro. With Subtitler, translators can
prepare
the subtitles themselves, freeing the editor from typing time and error.
Subtitler renders full quality antialiased titles with alpha channel in
PAL, NTSC, DVD, HD in 4:3 and 16:9 to the standard formats TIFF and
PICT. Fonts,
styles, colors, position, opacity, alignments, borders, shadows and
blurring
are customizable. Subtitler is currently the fastest solution working
with
nonlinear editors and does not need any specific hardware.
Belle Nuit Subtitler is available online for 120 USD. Site licenses are
600 USD.
Current users of Subtitler 1.0-1.4 upgrade for free.
