17 June 2004. Belle Nuit Montage releases its new program Imagefilter.

graphic effects.

Import nodes support many still formats QuickTime movies like many
other programs, but also PDF-rendering, image capture from still photo
cameras and text import for merging graphics and text. Color
corrections include innovative functions like RGB Matrix, Color
Temperature, Look Up Tables (1d and 3d), Mimikri and Color Space
conversion. Filters include Deflicker, Unsharp Mask, user-definable
Convolution (1d and 2d), Interlace and Deinterlace. Composition is
supported with Color Difference and Color Distance nodes for the
generation of the key and transfer modes, matte key and channel mix
nodes for the composition. A quartz script engine gives direct access
to the graphics of the computer.
Imagefilter is ideal for scientific purposes to analyze pictures, but
also for production purposes. Proxy resolutions allow for the fast
design of the node tree. Projects are defined as human-readable XML
files and can be automated from outside. Imagefilter is resolution
independent and aware of non-square pixel formats (PAL, NTSC, 16:9) and
works therefore well with video applications.
Imagefilter is immediately available for Macintosh G4 and G5 with
system 10.2 or 10.3. Demo licenses are fully functional but limited to
an output size of 512 * 384 pixel. Unlimited online licenses cost 120
USD per seat or 600 USD for site licenses.
