"The <

Redford, is a four-hour PBS series that travels the globe to explore the
ideas and impact of 12 "social entrepreneurs" who are making the world a
better place.
Around the world, courageous men and women are tackling "impossible" social
problems by using business skills coupled with passion and determination.
The New Heroes documentary explores the work of social entrepreneurs the
world, eight of whom are Ashoka Fellows.
Ashoka Fellow Inderjit Khurana is one of the "New Heroes" that you will
meet. She started train platform schools in cities in India (right) to
bring education to homeless and orphaned children who flock to stations to
beg from passengers. This series features the innovative solutions of
Inderjit and eleven other social entrepreneurs.
