the only way i can think to do this is to use concentric circles on
both sides of the steering wheel with leads that keep in contact with
the circles at all times (the way the + for the horn works). the ground
will probibly work fine just grounding to the steering wheel itself.

Only other option is to use slightly longer cables and just let them
twist. From the center position they'd only ever get about 2 full
rotations in either direction. wouldn't be the end of the world i don't
think, but option 1 is way more hardcore.

I always wanted to do this with xmas lights on a ceiling fan. never got
around to making the rings to supply the 110v power tho

in order to put the screen in the steering wheel, you would need a big enough space, i took off the airbag and made a mold of the cover then i used fiber glass...

i made the mold out of a styrofoam material just to get the shape but you can make the mold out of fiberglass if you want.....
