This Yahoo Group was created by the author of the website, TheCityChicken.com. The author of TheCityChicken.com lives in the vicinity of Portland, Oregon, and keeps chickens in her back yard.
This Yahoo Group is for discussion between chicken-keepers who most likely live in an urban, city, suburb or otherwise non-farm setting, yet still keep chickens. There will also likely be a Pacific Northwest slant, although people from other areas are welcome.

Keeping them warm
I have 4 chickens in a hutch with a little run attached. My husband screwed wood on the sides and we have it covered with a plastic. I hope this is warm
