Try importing your document into Open Office and use that to place and size your hires image. Once you get it set there, Open Office will allow you to resize

Help please! doing a self published photo book, 6" x 9", did my GIMP images at that size, commercial printer needs 8.5" x 11" due to bleeds of some images.

Hi Shannon, I'm not sure if this helps, but check if your images are RGB (as opposed to indexed or grayscale). That often helps. Have you tried setting your

I just want to clarify - the problem is that if you have two images the same dimensions, with one at 72ppi and one at 300ppi, the text is pixelated the same
