Flipping a Selection?
GIMP allows one to flip an image vertically or horizontally. If it's possible to do that to a selection, how is it done? Best regards, John

Thanks, Martijn, Yes, it's working that way now. Good. When I tried that last week, it didn't do that, but I must have not done what I thought I did. Best

John, When you click in your image somewhere outside the selection then your original selection should disappear (hide). At least that is how I just tested it

... Hmmm ... now that I've selected a part of my icon and moved it a little, the Select > None menu item is greyed out, and not available. So, I still don't

... forgot to mention. to clear the selection use option select >> none from the menus at the top of the image.
