Hello! I am new to the Gimp, but I really like it so far. I am not very
experienced at image editing, but I wouls like to know, how do you create
transparent areas withing an image or layer? I am trying to make banners by
layering images together, but I want certain sections of one of the layers to be
transparent and I can't find any tool to do that. Let me know if I'm doing
something wrong, or if I just haven't found the correct tool. Thanks!
