Layers Dialog?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #961 of 1087 |
Ok, now that I've got the new 2.6 installed, I can't seem to find the
layers dialog box. It doesn't pop up anywhere when my GIMP loads and
while I'm sure its there somewhere, I can't seem to find a way to
manually make it appear. I'm trying to create layers with transparent
backgrounds and I"m frustrated that I can't accomplish this. I
searched through past messages and found great directions, but again,
I don't have the layers box anywhere. I just have the one toolbox
with buttons for color select, selections, etc.

Thanks,
Andrea
