hello all...
please allow me to introduce myself. my name is david cooper, a photographer in
pennsylvania, united states. i currently use an older hasselblad V96C digital
back on a
500 series camera, but have been considering an upgrade to an all-in-one
package, with
autofocus, tether-free action, and a wider variety of lenses than the old
hasselblad has to
offer (the 16 megapixel V96C crops the 6x6cm image size to slightly less than
4x4cm due
to the sensor size, greatly restricting wide-angle views.)
i've recently found out that the mamiya 645 ZD package was finally released, but
don't live
anywhere near a dealer. i'm writing to you for a quick review of it's
performance...do you
like the image quality? do you like the functionality? the navigation of the
digital back?
how does it compare to other medium format digital systems? do you like the
lenses? do
you like the autofocus? do you like the software and workflow?
the price of a new hasselblad is outrageous, and the mamiya looks really
attractive. are
you happy with your investment?
i've found very little documentation regarding this new back online, and would
like to learn
more about it. thanks for your time and help...i really appreciate it!
sincerely,
david cooper
