The NapMX program [available here in our files section] will grab new
servers.

Is that the program you used to "fix" WinMX or something else?

I upgraded to version 3.3 and couldn't get it to work. It appeared to connect, but then I couldn't type in any of the search spaces. It was like it locked...

DONT go with imesh. it took me a half hour to find and get rid of all the spyware off my machine. damn that gator and some other side program installed itself....

I found version 3.3 to be a PITA. It was impossible to type in the search fields. It was like it locked my computer up. It also, visually, wasn't appealing....

I upgraded (with difficulty) to 3.3 too, and didn't have time to really use it but typed in Dr. John to see what my results would be and they were fantastic....

... Got MXpie Patch v2.9 from mxpie.com. It works fine. And yes, w98se is a clunker for WinMx, especially with a dial-up connection. I don't DL that much,...
