hi all maybe it was grouplens that I was thinking awhile ago was
discussing releasing their data. they have a good open database on the
web for download-- I had no idea it was there, I wonder how long its
been there. sawar of the grouplens team seems to have written a lot
of interesting papers.
grouplens started out scoring usenet articles,
but seem to have moved away from that many years ago and now tend to
focus on movie rating, from what I can tell. a lot of the papers also
discuss new PDA interfaces.
