The Interstate System celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2006. As you may or may not know it, there are still a few areas that could use an interstate connection. So I present to you a forum that could help us complete our quest in building the absolutely perfect interstate system, one that would make Eisenhower proud. Reroutes, extensions and new corridors are always welcome here, and if you can find a way to improve the existing corridors (such as widening construction or interchange improvements), we welcome that, too. The Interstates we have now are connected to most places in the country, but there's always room for expansion. So if you know of any areas that could use a new Interstate connection, feel free to post your ideas here.
