This group was formed by a group of people who are dedicated to the Silkie breed and any other poultry they happen to possess. Our goal is to help those new to the breed, to lend a hand when one can't be found else where. The core group of members has many years experience with the birds' breeding, health and showing. Please feel free to contribute, to ask questions, to voice opinions (without rancor) and simply have fun. Even if it doesn't directly involve poultry.

No slamming will be tolerated by the mods. Bring your Sunday dinner manners with you when you visit. We will moderate any new members that are unknown to us until we get to know one another.
