I have a number of beautiful H. oreogena from David Liddle...and he confirms that this is what the plant IS...but I have not gotten it to bloom. I get so
Alison- I usually use perlite for any cutting that I am going to place in a mix. The hydroton I only use for rooting when I am going to keep that cutting in
Mark, I root hoya in perlite and have never used hydroton specifically for rooting. What is your criteria for making the decision to root a plant in hydroton?
I would think some pubicalyx plants would grow well together. I'm thinking of the beautiful photo in the Stemma Gallery of the pubicalyx blooms all together -
