Hi Folks,
I've got some Darlingtonia seeds at home which can go out of the fridge
within a few weeks. Lately I've been looking up some stuff on the
Darlingtonia and it's actually incredible how many different types of soil
people recommend and now I was thinking, why don't I try out a mix myself
with one third white sand, one third peat and one third spaghnum moss. I
guess I'm not killing the plant with it, hope I'm guessing right !??
An other issue I'm being faced with, is a white fungus growing on the
seeds, but I guess they were too wet, so now I've put a few chunks of damp
spaghnum moss with them in order to keep moisture levels up.
Am I doing the right things and does anyone else have any experience with
the cultivation of these seeds ?
thx in advance.
greetings,
Stef from Belgium
