Some of you may remember I was looking for a good portable / affordable digital
camera for photographing small CP.
After returning a Nikon P4 (lousy camera for macros), I'm now getting a Canon
A620, which I should have in a few days. Thanks for Jan W for the
recommendation (he gets good macro shots from his A610). I THINK this is going
to be a really good camera for photographing my small Drosera and *SO* hope I'm
done camera shopping for a long, loooong time - I spent way too many hours
surfing the web trying to find pics the manufacturer's sites should have but
don't. One thing's for sure - there are too many digital cameras out there.
Anyway, here's info on the A620:

Here's a shot with adaptor and additional macro lens, a photo of the corner of a
$50 bill!

!!!!!!
The lens is around $100 and adaptor around $50, I think, but the detail's
amazing for such a cheap setup.

Now I guess I need to build some kind of light box since the flash won't be good
at such close distances. And I need to learn how to take pics the right way!
I'm guessing I'll post some nice new pics once I've had time to learn the camera
a bit, probably in around 3 weeks?
Sorry for blabbing, but I'm excited.
Matt
