Yes, I don't like to say that connecting an HDD to the PCW16 is not
possible, but there are some very striking features of the unit
which could present a problem. I doubt whether you could get it
booting from the hard disk, so it would just be used to store files,
then you end up with the weird cataloguing system that is on the
PCW16, and any limitations of this, then the limitation of the
maximum amount of space the unit can access (probably not much more
than the space of the flash ROM).

P.S. The only time I came on this PCW16 was when in Dixens and it
was on sale for £25, but I didn't end up buying it because of no
rescue disk or mouse! Wish I had made a different choice then, as I
love playing with old systems now.
