Thank-you for your quick reply. I installed Tix on my Linux system as part of the Tk module to perl from CPAN, this package does not include the two examples you mention. With your help I have been able to find the two examples and am looking at them.

Two other quetions spring from this,

1 Are there any examples of perl scripts using TixGrid easily available?

2 How portable are perl scripts written using Tix modules, e.g. if I write a script that works in Linux, for the same script to work on windows, is anything more need than perl5 and various perl modules such as Tk?

I hope I am not asking questions that are too simple.
