The original shell script was developed by Gina Trapani and hosted here:
http://todotxt.com/
Development of a python version, was undertaken and a repository established at code.google.com
Recently all of the various todo code has been added to a new repository here:
http://code.google.com/p/todotxt/
todo.py is being maintained by Graham Davies. Graham has been rapidly progressing the original todo system with various additional functionality and has begun a re-write in the form of Jobdone.
My understanding is that Jobdone should probably be considered in early alpha stage and not for day-to-day use.
I recommend you download the latest stable todo.py ("1.8.1-py-beta Revision: 167")

I have been following this list for several weeks now and I was going
to see if I have the latest version of todo.py running. But, I see I
have bookmarks to some Google code pages, a Yahoo! groups page, a
todotxt.com site. Is any of these *the* place I should go to find
the current scripts and status of the projects?
todo.py is not easy to find on the todotxt.com site. Is it
considered not the 'real' version of todo?
What exactly is 'jobdone'? I have gotten a little confused as to
what all the projects are. Can anyone give me a concise picture of
how everything stands and where everything is going?
Thanks,
