Hi Grant - I did not do a comparison on straight vs. twisted, I just
went for the twisted from the start. If you read the little sheet that
Paul includes with his cables, you will see that there is a huge
difference in the inductance of the cables by twisting them. According
to all I have seen on this, the inductance has more of an impact on the
higher frequencies than any of the other parameters when dealing with
cables. For that reason alone I decided to just go for the lower
inductance. It certainly sounds great this way, but I can't say if it's
any different. It would be very difficult to "untwist" them now. Maybe
in the new year I will get a second set and leave them straight just to
compare.

Subject: [toronto-audiophiles] Re: Concensus on installation of
"Anti-Cable" speaker wiring
I own a pair of 5 foot runs of the anti-cables and have them without
any twists but straight runs. they sound great and are dirt cheap.
The downside of course is that they are stiff and inflexible and the
standard termination is pretty cheap. Did you do a before and after
comparison on straight vs. twisted by chance???
Cheers
Grant
