Re: Concensus on installation of "Anti-Cable" speaker wiring

Hmm. I bought the cables used so never received Paul's included
instruction sheet. I will have to try and hunt it down. Certainly
I'v never seen a drop off of the hights, Infact the opposite is quite
true depending on the recording. My origional intent was to get solid
core cables as I heard they worked better with tube amplification. I
guess
the fact I never considered anything particularly lacking is a
testiment to their characteristics.....

Cheers
Grant

Ken: It's nice to read a success story. The Morrow cables had pretty much the same affect on my system. These cables are NOT twisted...just bunched at regular...

As I said, this surprised me as much as anyone. It's just a hunk of magnet wire - #12 copper with an enamel-type coating. If you had told me that these would...

Ken, I used the Anticables for while on my Abbys and tried them parallel and twisted. Without twisting the loss of hf signal was very noticable. Twisting...

Actually, that is a great idea Rene. A 30 meter roll of #12 awg magnet wire as a bulk purchase is exactly what we should do - I am in, if you want to do this....

But what about the fact that this wire would not be coated. Would you not have to put some sort of coating to prevent shorts? ... From: Roach, Ken (GE EntSol,...

Andre, It is Magnetwire - which means it is coated! If you look at the windings on any transformer you see the wires touching; there is a small amount of...
