Graphics Designer

Responsibilities:

• Assist Lead Graphic Designer with creating art assets and resources
• Research and brainstorm new art assets that enhance usability of
our site
• Collaborative design and implementation
• Ability to produce commercial grade art assets from abstract
concepts
• Pragmatic front-end development and deployment with code and
design "readiness" to be handed off to back-end developers for system
integration


List of required knowledge, skills, and attributes:

• Highly communicative & motivated team player
• Would love to work in a young, diverse team of other enthusiastic
team players
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of Adobe Flex and Adobe Air
• Experience in HTML/XHTML, CSS, and adhere to W3C Web Standards
• Experience in JavaScript, AJAX, & DHTML
• Have some experience with open source JavaScript libraries such as
Jquery or prototype
• Understand the DOM model and know the differences between the major
browsers
• Love to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and web2.0
developments
• Willingness to face tight deadlines and get the job done!
