JSiteMap does not work with Wiki pages   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #2043 of 2419 |
I have been advised by Pierre, the originator of JSiteMap to try this
group. JSiteMap relies on Morten's Tree Menu.

Our site has a Wiki, and I would like a map. However, JSiteMap does
not work with Wiki pages (for example, Wikipedia).

When the site map of our Wiki is launched, the tree is correctly
displayed in the left pane. The correct behaviour (with any site
except a Wiki) is that clicking a link in the tree should display the
target page in the right pane.

With a Wiki, clicking a link in the tree launches the correct page,
but in a new Firefox tab (or the complete IE window). There is no left
pane, and therefore no tree.

After that, clicking "Back" on the browser returns momentarily to the
original 2-frame page, but then quickly changes back to the target
page. I can never return to the tree to select a different link.

Please advise.

Regards,
Alan
