Hello Sanjai,
It will be interesting to read your thoughts and ideas on the subject.
Governments are looking to science rather than knowledge in an attempt
to deal with only one aspect of climate change. That being carbon
dioxide sequestration, when they can plant more trees and these
will do the work on which they want to spend millions. These millions
will probably be replaced by industry which will create more carbon
dioxide.
Planting trees governments will create beautiful places for the
population of their countries to enjoy, and a harvest-able product at
the end of it's life as more young trees are planted to take their
place and become the new growing carbon sequestration engine. There
will be many other benefits for our water and weather systems that we
are not able to calculate as well. The life circle being perpetuated
rather than being a straight line which has a start and an end.
Will we ever be heard, when humans want to show they are more
clever than nature, and just showing their obvious stupidity?
Be well,
Charlie
