It's probably as good as any. If Word can't produce an .RTF
version you can open and read with Word itself, then there's
something wrong with that doc.
Always be sure to close down Word *after* the conversion and
*before* you try reading that new .RTF doc with it.
Otherwise, sometimes it will look normal and lead you to
believe it's OK, yet it won't work later when you try to
open it in a new instance of Word.
