Seems this thread turned into OSes head to head!

Each has their uses, right now the desktop home is running puppy linux cause
windows xp decide it will get corrupt and I not feeling to re-install and talk
spanglish at the moment. Cannot do a repair cause we have an OEM disc so it is
puppy for now and we functioning.

I think it is a matter of preference and application - windows - whatever
version, mac or linux. I dont dig no horrors if someone wants to use windows or
mac just dont diss me if I choose to use linux - how come choice is politcially
fine in other aspects of human behaviour but the moment you tell people you
using linux is like you from a different planet.... kill the alien???

Some like to drive Nissan cars(which knocking dog all over the place) while
others like to drive porsche or beamers and even vintage - some people are fine
with mainstream while others like a little exotic. Others like to mix it up
...drive the porsche when the nissan in the shop.

Variety and choice are great things.
