for help in making presentations for various topics at a workshop
about (IT) security in the work place to be held on Friday 2nd November
2001
The venue is Room 101 Faculty of Engineering
Session 1- 8am-12pm
Session 2- 1pm-5pm
The workshop is part of a computer Exposition named I TECH 2001
which will be held from November 1st to November 03rd
2001, at the Undercroft, Faculty of Engineering, University of the West
Indies, St. Augustine.
Anyone on this list who would like to assist the TTCS with this request,
should contact us at: ttcs@... before Saturday 6th October 2001.
Please note that there are 2 sessions of 4 hours each and your presence
maybe required for both sessions! so plan for an entire day to be
spent at UWI.

REF: I TECH 2001- WORKSHOP
The Rotary Club of St. Augustine West, in conjunction with NIHERST and
the University of the West Indies will be hosting a computer Exposition
appropriately named, I TECH 2001- from November 1st to November 03rd
2001, at the Undercroft, Faculty of Engineering, University of the West
Indies, St. Augustine.
The main objective of the exposition is to educate the community on
information technology and its applications. Students at the primary,
secondary and tertiary level, as well as the general public are invited
to attend.
Friday 02nd November will be dedicated to a workshop for IT departments
as well as individuals who operate in the IT field.
This workshop will deal with security in the work place.
The cost for this workshop is $200.00 TT per person
