The Ministry of Public Administration and Information (MPAI) has
released a document titled “Internet Bandwidth Management” available for
public consultation. Responses are encouraged before June 25th 2006.

"The Government of Trinidad and Tobago is seeking advice from interested
parties on the subject of Internet bandwidth management.
This paper seeks to gain feedback and proposals in its development of a
strategy charting a way forward to facilitate a more proactive
relationship with the wider Internet, and thus encourage an environment
conducive to indigenous content development and innovation in services.

Such a strategy, if assented and implemented, will go a long way in
assisting the wider goals of the National ICT Strategy, but will also
facilitate Trinidad and Tobago meeting International Obligations
identified in the Latin American and Caribbean Action Plan for the
Information Society, eLAC 2007.
