Yes, I see what you mean. Only 34 message since the beginning of 2004, and only
5 this year (all in April and mostly replies to your message).
I haven't used Turbo Pascal in ages and have possibly never posted to the group.
My membership just sits around with all my other group memberships.
Whenever I write a stand-alone program these days, I do it in C++, and I don't
envisage ever having occasion to write in Pascal again. (Not that I prefer C++
as a language - or at least C as a base language - but I do use the C++ OO model
to its fullest and have done so much C++ for business that I have developed a
good set of helper classes that mean I'm at a severe disadvantage in any other
language.)
I'm sad to leave Pascal behind, as it was the high-level language I used from
the outset (never Basic). But that's life.
So don't count me as active. :-(
Regards, Dave S

Please post SOMETHING, just so i can get a realistic count on how many
of you still frequent the board. I've been moderating for some time
now, and while membership goes up, i havne't seen as many posts. If
you have questions, ask them! If you have code you're troubled by,
post it and we can have a look at it. Got a cool procedure, lets
have it! Thanks a lot guys.
