Hello Ralf,

How often does this occur: for all incoming messages, or just occasionally? Do
you have any indication that messages have been actually lost in delivery?

Maybe these are just port scanners sniffing your server, looking for open
relays.

Try also using the firewall or something like Ethereal/Wireshark to log incoming
requests on port 25, in case the presumably failed requests come from a single
source.
