Description

This mailing list is a community discussion of web service interfaces using the REST architectural style for enabling collaborative authoring and content tools based such as weblogs, wikis, news aggregators and "rich Internet applications." Some examples of existing initiatives that would be an appropriate topic for discussion include (but are not limited to) RESTLog, Extremely Simple Syndication (XSS) and TrackBack.

The Universal Canvas, a term popularized by the writings of Jon Udell, is "a surface on which we view, but also create and edit, words and tables and charts and pictures." Through the universal representation of data and interfaces leveraging XML, networked services can trivially interconnect and information flows in new and novel ways.
