Any web site in the world can track your movements through its web
pages and monitor your reading interests using your IP address which
is a unique ID assigned to each computer on the Internet, just like
your telephone number. Your visit can also be logged and used to
gather in depth personal information about you. It is widely known
that governments and official agencies publish websites on
controversial topics for the sole purpose of monitoring and
information gathering of interested parties. The information gathered
along with your e-mail address, can be used to increase the number of
advertisements targeted at you by Internet marketing companies.
Using only your IP address and the information gathered about your
operating system, a Web site can exploit security holes in your
system using some common free hacking programs. Some of these
programs may delete your hard drive, but other, more powerful ones,
