THE FOLLOWING IS OUR OFFICIAL REPLY TO THE UFO WATCHDOG INVESTIGATION
ON THE DR. REED CASE...


We have allowed a release of the private archives that uforc has
collected on the Dr. Reed photographs. We are allowing this re-
release, for public scrutiny and examination. UFO WATCHDOG has
alleged that they were Halloween props, but the images of the
photographs have withstood numerous enhancements and analysis by
skilled experts in photo-interpretation. I challenge anyone out
there to proove that they are a hoax! The volume of expert testimony
rules out any tampering or manipulation in the images that we
received from Art Bell's website, and the UFO Resource Center has
received exclusive permission to use them on our webstite. The only
thing that Royce was able to use as evidence that they were allegedly
hoaxed was proof that the negatives were copied. We already knew
that were dubbed to prevent the originals from being damaged and have
known that all along. It is not a crime to have an alias in the
United States of America. I have stated my opinion and continue to
stand on what I said in my email to UFO WATCHDOG (See above). As I
have stated to UFOWATCHDOG, the Dr. Reed case is still under active
investigation, and we do not plan on releasing any of that
information until such time that our investigation has been completed.

Dear Royce,

I believe that there are certain elements of the Reed case that are
real, especially the photographs that have been extensively analyzed
and scrutinized by the UFO community for several years now. They
have held up to careful investigation. There are elements of the
Reed story that do not hold up, however and he is still under active
investigation by our SW Regional directors group.

For those so-called researchers and investigators that reported their
findings to the public in support of "Dr.Jonathan Reed" - there is
simply no excuse for poor, sloppy and incompetent investigative work,
whether by design or not.
