Travis Walton

 

The Walton experience is unequivocally the most well-known and publicly documented case of alien abduction ever recorded.

 

On November 5, 1975 a group of loggers in the mountains of northeastern Arizona observed a strange, unusually bright light in the sky. One of those men, Travis Walton, recklessly left the safety of their truck to take a closer look. Suddenly, as he walked toward the light, Walton was blasted back by a bolt of mysterious energy. His companions fled in fear. When they reported the encounter with a UFO - something they would have considered impossible if they had not witnessed it themselves - the men were suspected of murder. For five days authorities mounted a massive manhunt in search of Walton - or his body. Then Walton mysteriously reappeared, disoriented and initially unable to tell the whole story of his amazing encounter.

 

Over time Walton began to remember incredible experiences aboard an alien craft during his disappearance.   A well-known film called "Fire in the Sky" based on his book of the same title was released in 1993 by Paramount pictures.  His on-board experiences were changed in the movie, but on March 8th you will have a chance to hear what happened first hand.

Authors to be on History Channel's "UFO Hunters"

 Authors Noe Torres and  Ruben Uriarte  of Mexico's Roswell: The Chihuahua UFO Crash, will appear in the History Channel's "UFO Hunters" on February 20. Ruben Uriarte, along with  Noe Torres, will help in the investigation of a 1974 crash between a small aircraft and unidentified flying discs.
Mexico's Roswell: The Chihuahau UFO Crash is one of the few books to highly expose the historic and controversial events of the night of August 25, 1974.  Torres and Uriarte explain that the inexplicable crash created a race between the Mexican and U.S governments to find evidence of other life forms and technology beyond our planet.  Torres and Uriarte will have the privilege of explaining these events as technical advisers for their television segment filmed in Chihuahua, Mexico.
Both have been interviewed on many  radio shows, including Coast to Coast AM with George Noory, and previously appeared on the History Channel in 2005. Uriarte graduated from Cal State Hayward with a degree in psychology and Latin American studies. He is a member MUFON, the current state director for Northern California, and MUFON's liaison to Mexico's leading civilian UFO group, OMIFO. Torres holds a Master's degree in Library Science from the University of Texas at Austin. After authoring two books on sports history, Ghost Leagues (2005) and Baseball's First Mexican-American Star (2006), and a motion picture screenplay, Torres has embarked with Ruben Uriarte on a series of UFO books, of which this is the first.

Be sure to catch BOTH UFO Hunters shows on Sci-Fi and the History channel this Wednesday night!

The more the merrier, so don't just support one, support them both so we can keep them on the air.  If you saw one last week, watch the other this week.  However, if you saw them both already, watch the Sci-Fi one again, because it is in the most jeopardy of not continuing.  The more shows the better the coverage on this incredible and important phenomenon.
