Sememangnya sudah menjadi tradisi bagi kita umat Islam, pada setiap tanggal 17 Ramadhan kita akan mengadakan peringatan Nuzul Al-Quran.
Bahkan hampir di seluruh negeri-negeri Islam, pemerintahan setempat secara rutin melaksanakan peringatan tersebut setiap tahun, yang sering-kali digabungkan dengan peristiwa Perang Badar Al-Kubra (terjadi pada 17 Ramadhan tahun ke 2 Hijrah, ketika umat Islam pertama kali melaksanakan shaum Ramadhan).
Peristiwa nuzul al-Quran menjadi satu rakaman sejarah dalam kehidupan Nabi SAW hingga seterusnya berperingkat-peringkat menjadi lengkap sebagaimana kitab al-Quran yang ada pada kita hari ini. Peristiwa Nuzul al-Quran berlaku pada malam Jumaat, 17 Ramadan, tahun ke-41 daripada keputeraan Nabi Muhamad SAW. Perkataan
âNuzulâ bererti turun atau berpindah dari atas ke bawah. Bila disebut bahawa al-Quran adalah mukjizat terbesar Nabi SAW maka ianya memberi makna terlalu besar kepada umat Islam terutamanya yang serius memikirkan rahsia al-Quran.
âAl-Quranâ bererti bacaan atau himpunan. Di dalamnya terhimpun ayat yang menjelaskan pelbagai perkara meliputi soal tauhid, ibadat, jinayat, muamalat, sains, teknologi dan sebagainya. Kalimah al-Quran, sering dicantumkan dengan rangkai kata âal-Quran mukjizat akhir zamanâ atau âal-Quran yang mempunyai mukjizatâ. Malah inilah sebenarnya kelebihan al-Quran tidak ada satu perkara pun yang dicuaikan atau tertinggal di dalam al-Quran. Dengan lain perkataan segalanya terdapat di dalam al-Quran. Firman Allah:
Dan tidak seekor pun binatang yang melata di bumi, dan tidak seekor pun burung yang terbang dengan kedua sayapnya, melainkan mereka umat-umat seperti kamu. Tiada Kami tinggalkan sesuatu pun di dalam kitab
Al-Quran ini; kemudian mereka semuanya akan dihimpunkan kepada Tuhan mereka (untuk dihisab dan menerima balasan). (Al-Anâam:38)
al-Quran adalah hidayah, rahmat, syifa, nur, furqan dan pemberi penjelasan bagi manusia.. Segala isi kandungan al-Quran itu benar. Al-Quran juga dikenali sebagai Al-Nur bererti cahaya yang menerangi, al-Furqan bererti yang dapat membezakan di antara yang hak dan batil dan al-Zikr pula bermaksud yang memberi peringatan.
Dalam sejarah kehidupan Nabi SAW ayat al-Quran yang mula-mula diturunkan Allah kepada Nabi Muhammad SAW melalui perantaraan malaikat Jibrail ialah lima ayat pertama daripada surah Al-âAlaq. maksudnya:
âBacalah (wahai Muhammad) dengan nama Tuhan mu yang menciptakan (sekalian makhluk), Ia menciptakan manusia dari sebuku darah beku; Bacalah, dan Tuhan mu Yang Maha Pemurah, -Yang mengajar manusia melalui pena dan tulisan, -Ia mengajarkan manusia apa yang tidak diketahuinya.â
(al-âalaq:1-5)
BILA DAN BAGAIMANA AL-QURAN DITURUNKAN
Terdapat dua pendapat mengikut ahli sejarah, termasuk pendapat para ahli hadis, tentang Al-Quran yang diturunkan (diwahyukan) kepada Nabi Muhammad saw.
Pendapat pertama menyatakan bahawa Al-Quran diturunkan pada malam Isnin tanggal 17 Ramadhan, 13 tahun sebelum hijrah (6 Ogos 610 M). Pendapat kedua pula menyatakan bahawa Al-Quran telah diturunkan pada malam Isnin, tanggal 24 Ramadhan (13 Ogos 610 M). Pendapat yang pertama adalah berdasarkan ayat 41 dari Surah Al-Anfaal, manakala pendapat kedua dasarnya adalah ayat 1 Surah Al-Qadr dan ayat 1-4 Surah Ad-Dukhan.
Walaupun tradisi Nuzul Al-Quran telah lazim diperingati pada tanggal 17 Ramadhan, namun sesungguhnya pendapat kedua adalah lebih kuat dan lebih mungkin benarnya. Ini adalah kerana malam Lailatul Qadar yang dipercayai sebagai malam turunnya Al-Quran bukanlah terjadi pada tanggal 17 Ramadhan.
Adapun dalam firman Allah SWT pada ayat 41 surah Al-Anfaal, yaitu: "â¦jika kamu beriman kepada Allah dan apa-apa yang Kami turunkan kepada hamba Kami (Nabi Muhammad saw) pada hari Furqan,iaitu di hari bertemunya dua pasukan (diperang Badar, antara muslimin dan kafirin)â¦" (TTQ 8 : 41) Ayat tersebut tidak ada sangkut-pautnya dengan Nuzul Al-Quran.
Tetapi sebenarnya ayat tersebut merupakan penjelasan tentang hukum pembahagian harta rampasan perang (seperti yang terdapat pada awal ayat tersebut). " Ketahuilah sesungguhnya apa saja yang dapat kamu peroleh sebagai rampasan perang, maka sesungguhnya seperlima untuk Allah, RasulNya, kerabat-kerabat (Rasul), anak-anak yatim, orang-orang miskin dan ibnussabil (orang yang sedang dalam perjalanan)â¦" (TTQ 8 : 41).
Dan apabila diteliti dengan lebih lanjut, yakni dengan menghubungkan hadis-hadis tentang turunnya Al-Quran, iaitu pada Lailatul-Qadar dan kelahiran Rasullullah pada hari Isnin serta pada catatan-catatan waktu di dalam takwim, maka akan diperolehi kesimpulan yang lebih tepat, iaitu Al-Quran diturunkan pada hari Isnin, malam 21 bulan Ramadhan, 13 tahun sebelum Rasullulah saw berhijrah ke Madinah.
Menurut para mufassirin, Al-Quran yang diturunkan pada malam "Lailatul Qadar" sebagaimana disebut di atas adalah Al-Quran yang turun sekaligus di "Baitul Izzah" di langit dunia. Sedangkan Al-Quran yang diturunkan ke bumi dan diterima Rasullullah sebagai wahyu terjadi secara beransur-ansur selama sekitar 23 tahun.
Adapun ayat-ayat yang pertama diturunkan (diwahyukan) kepada Nabi Muhammad saw adalah ayat 1-5 surah Al-'Alaq.
Dan peristiwa ini terjadi ketika nabi saw sedang bertahannus (menyendiri) di Gua Hira. Sedangkan ayat Al-Quran yang terakhir sekali diturunkan adalah ayat-ayat riba iaitu ayat 278 sehingga 281 dari surah Al-Baqarah.

Apple Updates MacBook Apple announced that it has updated its entire MacBook product line with faster Intel Core 2 Duo processors, 1GB of memory, and larger hard drives. Just one-inch thin, MacBook features built-in 802.11n wireless networking. It also includes a built-in iSight video camera for on-the-go video conferencing, a MagSafe Power Adapter that safely disconnects under strain, and iLife ’06, Apple’s award-winning suite of digital lifestyle applications. With prices starting at $1,099 (US), the new MacBook models are available immediately. [May 15, 2007]
As for Malaysia market, the new MacBook stocks should already be in Malaysia by now, basic price starting from RM 4,199. The previous MacBook models are still available at cheaper price (by apple standard of cause) while stock lasts.
