Description

This group is open to anyone using Affymetrix technology.

Originally setup as a UK academic forum we have, and welcome, members from across Europe. Commercial members are welcome as long as there is a sharing of ideas and willingness to enter into discussions.

Anyone wishing to enter a discussion can join the list.

The UKAffy group is an extension of the UKAffy user group. Formed in early 2002 by Sarah Forbes-Robertson, James Hadfield, Stuart Pepper, Matthew Arno and Mike Hubank.

It was set up as somewhere that ideas and problems could be discussed in an informal and open forum. Issues related to array type, protocols, analysis, finance and fun are all topics for discussion. The group has a yearly meeting where members can get together for a day or two to meet, discuss and have a few drinks, courtesy of Affymetrix.
