mammals, birds, herptiles, fish, insects & all other invertebrates, vascular & lower plants, fungi etc

Information from wildlife & environment organisations is welcomed.

But avoid the following please:

- adverts
- binaries
- "me too" e-mails or big flames
- messages formated in HTML
- languages other than English
- crossposting between groups (if possible)

If you want to do any of the following, ask the list co-ordinator (Steve.Preddy@blueyonder.co.uk) first:
- send messages with attachments
- send very long e-mails eg 50KB plus!
