Approximate satisfaction of equations   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #590 of 654 |
Dear Friends,

I have posted a 97-page paper on the approximate
satisfaction of an equation (or a set of
equations E) on a metric space (A,d). Of
course if E is compatible with A, then a
perfect approximation is possible. In other
cases we are sometimes able to measure the real
distance within which approximate satisfaction
is possible.

The paper may be found at

http://euclid.colorado.edu/~wtaylor/approx.pdf

I welcome any comments.

Sincerely, Walter Taylor walter.taylor@...

Note: please write me at walter.taylor@...,
regardless of any other address that yahoo might
suggest.
