The mission of the project is to demonstrate, by working together as a community of partners, the application of restoration activities that lead to a healthy watershed. The Interactive Watershed web site part of this project is full of detailed digital terrain maps, immersive 360 degree panoramas, photographs, text and audiovisual stories demonstrating how local watershed restoration efforts can be achieved and encouraged through the use of technology, community education, and partnerships.
Also incorporated into this web site is a Watershed Community Center, a place where you can find out more about current events, volunteer opportunities and proposed future watershed projects. This is an on-line center where you can spend time and find out more about your watershed. You can also use this center to become a participant in watershed restoration activities and in resource management decisions.
