Hi Speed access to the Upper Sevier Watershed web site is now available to
travelers in Panquitch. Can you imaging people using the web site to find
places to visit while they are in the area?
"Wi Fi" or Wireless Internet access spots are developing across the country in
hotels, airports, coffee shops etc. KOA campgrounds has started this service
in a few locations and Panquitch, Utah is one of the first.
Does anybody know of other locations close watershed where this W-Fi
service is available? Cedar City? St. George?
KOA is using the HOTSPOTZZ service which offers the 802.11b Wi-Fi, that is
many times faster than a dial up (phone line) service. Travelers or local
people with wireless-equipped laptop computers can enjoy fast internet
connections -without wires or boundaries.
This is not meant to be an advertisement., but if you are interested, more
information is available about KOA and HOTSPOTZZ at the following web site
I just saw this morning. Look for the "Visit our KOA HotSpotzz locations page
to see the Panquitch listing. There is another in Salt Lake City.

The cost of setting up a Wi-Fi system has decreased dramatically and is now
affordable for almost any organization or even families. KOA's and other
campgrounds and lots of other locations will have this service available
across Utah and across the country in the future.
We have one in our home-studio to connect and use it for desktop and laptop
computers every day.
