A private forum for members of Utah Caving Community and/or Grottos. If you live in the state of Utah and are interested in conservation, preservation and safety techniques then contact the moderator. Cave locations are not given on this group publically. We're serious about preserving our caves for future generations. Membership in the National Speleological Society and/or it's Grottos (in Utah) is ENCOURAGED but NOT REQUIRED to join this list. References from known cavers is a big help.
By joining the Grottos/NSS the flow of information becomes that much easier...because it shows your level of commitment to the preservation and conservation issues surrounding our natural resources.
Also please when applying to join utcavers write a letter of introduction about yourself so that we (the moderators) can ascertain who you are and make approvals based on that.
