Vancouver's 1st Semantic(Web)Camp - Microformats, Giant Global Graph   Message List

Hello,

Anyone interested in the semantic web? If yes, let's get together
for Vancouver's 1st Semantic(Web)Camp

What's Semantic(Web)Camp Vancouver?

SemanticCamp is an unconference-style meetup for anyone interested
in the semantic web:

o The "pragmatic" semantic web using Microformats and best
practices and conventions that work in today's browsers using today's
markup.
o The "official" semantic web led by the web's inventor Sir Tim
Berners-Lee and the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

SemanticCamp brings together developers, designers, marketers,
strategists, technologists, and students, in an open and collaborative
environment of sharing and learning.

That's the idea. I've put together a first event wiki @
http://barcamp.org/SemanticCampVancouver and an event listing on
Facebook @ http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=21630629760

Thoughts? Comments? Let us know. Interested? Join the organizing
team to make it happen or add your talk proposal (e.g. how to use DITA
to publish semantic data on the web) to the wiki or sign-up as a sponsor!

Cheers.
