Hello VRC, For some time now, my 4 yr-old keeps asking for a robot that walks and can "bring coffee or hot chocolate". I began a search today for kits, and so...
Hi everyone, As you might know by now we will remake the website. What we are currently looking for is what you want to see and/or expect from the website. Dan...
Hi Rob, are you looking for a tele-operated robot (RC) or autonomous one? I am not aware of any commercially available (almost) human sized walkers. Your...

Hi Rob, For a 4 year old I'd rather suggest some like the PLEOÂ dinosaur. It is not exactly a "walker". But I'm sure kids love it. James ... From: Rob...

... Some suggestions: 1. iSOBOT: Not a kit, but these are really cheap now (seen at under US$100). It's an incredible amount of tech for the price. ...
Thank you for all the suggestions! You've identified far more than I had come across I had come across the Lego Mindstorms and I-Sobot in my brief searches so...
I've decided to move my full MSRS demo to another meeting, in part due to time constraints getting everything ready and also to leave enough time and not rush...

Hello everyone. I am trying to stop the countdown decade counter when it reaches zero and hold it at zero and also a button to reset it back to a numeric 9 to...
It looks like inverting carry out and connecting that back into carry in should cause the counter to reach its end count (zero if counting down) and then stop...
Thanks Dave for the response; the reset part I'd experimented today was a 10k pulldown resistor on the preset enable pin1 with a pushbutton tied to power and...
Ah, I see the problem. Carry out is gated by carry in. So when the counter reaches zero, carry out goes to zero for a moment. But you invert that and feed...
I'll have to try the latch "count low/hold high" for Monday; interestingly, tried using a 4-input NAND gate receiving the low logic of the 4029 outputs when...
