Thanks for responding so quickly.
I tried what you suggested and it did have a positive effect. It seems
I managed to get thru the registration process with the name "Cali
Grapher"
The error log shows this:
file permission deny server executions:
/Library/WebServer/CGI-Executables/vanilla.cgi
Further attempts to log myself into my vanilla space shows this
browser result:
132Set-Cookie:vanilla-uid=;path=/;Set-Cookie:vanilla-sid=5162521-15498508-176478\
4-5975825;path=/;status:302MovedtemporarilyLocation:http://ricoaguirre.local/cgi\
-bin/vanilla.r?selector=passphrase=%243HA1%24E7A46F3F92D1AAF864BC5C368AD3D674FBA\
B2489&redirect-to=vanilla-user-login-success
I do have some ability to decipher computer lingo like the encryption
of my password and the fact that my user name registered OK, but as
far as where the trouble lies, in vanilla.cgi according to the error
log, I don't have clue as to what steps I should take to begin fixing
the bugs. What am I supposed to see if I type
http://127.0.0.1/cgi-bin/vanilla.cgi into a browser window?
