I managed to get the gun metal grey theme to display OK. I'm still not
able to pull up http://localhost/vanilla-static/vanilla.css
I am a bit curious about whether or not it is necessary to use an ISP
server like godaddy.com in order to get this on a network, or whether
my DSL account with att.net would host it in their free Personal Web
Page space. It's too soon to go exploring this, but I would like to
hear your opinion so that I'll have something to ponder while I roll
the idea in my head.
Tomorrow I'm taking my laptop to a cafe to explore whether other web
surfers can pull up http://localhost/cgi-bin/vanilla.r the same way I
can access it at home thru wifi using the desktop computer.
Thanks for all your help, Chris. Pop in to say hello whenever you find
yourself in Los Angeles, California.
