Of course it is. :) Brian took the time to add those four lines to the
spec, it's up to us to implement it. Of course, if you're not doing type
checking anywhere else (i.e. like the reference implementation), just copy
the code from latlh and be done with it.

back and look at it. Then I never did.

That's okay. If he does nothing but prod us to think about var'aq again,
he's done more for the project than a silent mailing list.
That, and it gives me something to do to answer his messages that's at
least slightly more engaging than trash summer tv. :)
